OnePlus has made another announcement with the launch of OnePlus 7T, OnePlus TV Q1 and OnePlus TV Q1 Pro on September 6 in India. OnePlus has said that it will add a new payment feature to OxygenOS next, which is named OnePlus Pay. This payment solution will be an alternative to mobile payment solutions, such as Google and Samsung are offering. However, the company did not give more information in this event. The Chinese company teased this upcoming feature at the launch event of OnePlus 7T and OnePlus TV.
OnePlus Pay: Although not much information was given about how it would work. However, there are reports that the company will introduce this feature next year. OnePlus product manager Szymon Kopec said that we have been working on this feature for quite some time. He said that from next year you will not need to keep the physical wallet with you.
It is expected that this will be a regular wallet app that will sync your bank account by itself. This app will allow users to pay through NFC terminals. It will also support the UPI based payment option. The company wants to reduce its dependence on smartphones by doing so. At the same time, the company has launched OnePlus 7T in India at an initial price of Rs 39,999.
At this price, this phone comes with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage variants. Another variant comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, which is priced at Rs 39,999. Customers will be able to buy OnePlus 7T from Amazon India and OnePlus.in from September 28. This smartphone has been launched with Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue color options. On September 28, at 12 noon, only Amazon Prime customers will be able to buy it.
