Xiaomi has launched its Redmi 8A smartphone in India. The Redmi 8A smartphone is an upgrade to the Redmi 7A launched two months ago. At present, this latest smartphone has not been launched in any other market. The company has launched this smartphone in two variants. Its first variant has 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, which the company has launched for Rs 6,499. Apart from this, it has a 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, which the company will launch for Rs 6,999. This new Redmi device will be available for sale from September 29 via Flipkart.
The company has also confirmed that the device will soon be available at offline retailers as well. The main highlights of this latest smartphone include a 5,000mAh battery, USB Type-C port, aura wave grip design.
Xiaomi Redmi 8A features, specifications
In this smartphone the company has given a 6.22-inch display. This display comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection with HD + resolution. Xiaomi Redmi 8A smartphone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset. Along with this, the company has given a 12-megapixel Sony IMX 363 sensor in the back. The front has an 8-megapixel AI selfie camera. The camera app of this smartphone also supports potted mode during selfie.
The Smartphone has the powerful 5,000mAh battery. Along with this, the company has also supported 18W fast charge with USB Type-C port. In addition, it has a dual-SIM card slot. The storage of this smartphone can be increased to 512GB via microSD card. The Redmi 8A smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie OS.
Along with this, this smartphone sports wireless FM radio. This latest smartphone from Xiaomi comes with P2i coating which makes it slash proof. With the launch of this phone, the company say that Redmi 7A will be available for sale during Mi Diwali Sale for Rs 4,999.
